How do I know which service my watch needs?

Bring the watch in or send a brief description and we will advise you. If in doubt, the Everyday Service Package covers the most common needs for a watch that is simply due for maintenance. For older pieces we usually recommend the Vintage Refresh. The Collector's Restoration is for watches with sentimental or collector value where thoroughness and documentation matter.

How long does a service typically take?

The Everyday Service Package usually takes 7–10 working days. Vintage Refresh runs 2–4 weeks depending on part availability. The Collector's Restoration can take 4–8 weeks, as each stage is documented and approved before proceeding. We keep you updated throughout.

Are the prices listed the final price?

The prices cover the standard scope of each package. If the assessment reveals additional work — a cracked crystal, a worn crown, a faulty crown tube — we will contact you before proceeding. Nothing outside the quoted scope is done without your agreement.

Do you work on all watch brands and movements?

We work on a wide range of mechanical and automatic watches, including Swiss and Japanese movements. We do not service quartz battery watches as a main offering, though we can do basic battery and seal replacements on request. For highly specialised complications, we will let you know at the assessment stage if the work is within our scope.

Is my watch insured while it is with you?

Each watch is photographed and logged on arrival and kept in a secure environment throughout the service. We take every reasonable precaution with pieces in our care. Please contact us directly if you have specific questions about our handling procedures.

Can I drop in without an appointment?

Yes, walk-ins are welcome during opening hours. If you would like to discuss a particular restoration project in more detail, calling or messaging ahead means we can give you proper time and attention rather than a rushed consultation.
